Description
In addition to the originals available and noted on the shop page, each of the mandalas can be ordered as an embellished giclee (“gee-clay”). A giclee is a print on canvas. When Uma Joy makes a giclee, she takes the print and adds 3- dimensional paint, gold leafing (when shown on the original) and/or Swarovski crystals – making the giclee half-way between an original and a print. Thus, the difference in pricing on the giclees — the more detailed the original is – the more involved the embellishment becomes.
