Mandalas

The word mandala means ‘sacred circle.’ They have been around since the beginning of time (circles on cave walls). They are traditionally thought of more in connection with the east – though they are likely in most/all cultures and religions. They have become more known in the Western world through the work of Carl Jung. The Mandala is said to have a healing energy emanating from it that can be measured 10-20 feet out. These mandalas are painted with acrylic on canvas and often embellished with Swarovski crystals, glitter, and 3 dimensional paint. Many of the originals are available and if not, Giclées, Art Prints and Greeting Cards usually are.
