A contemporary mandala with the delights of summer. Symbols present include:
A butterfly and dragon flies for transformation and adaptability;
lotuses for beauty and purity; and
frogs for abundance and prosperity.
In addition to the originals available and noted on the shop page, most of the paintings can be ordered as an embellished giclée (“gee-clay”). Technically, a giclée is a print. I use the term to mean a print on canvas. When I make a giclée, I take the print and add 3-dimensional paint, gold leafing (when shown on the original) and/or Swarovski crystals – making the giclée half-way between an original and a print. Thus, you may notice a difference in pricing on the giclées — the more detailed the original is – the more involved the embellishment becomes.
